This wall oven was installed as part of an overall kitchen remodel and has been the most disappointing feature of the whole project. It is not intuitive to use, and the manual is not very helpful.It seemed to be at least 50 degrees too low the first few times we used it. After searching on the Internet, we found the instructions for recalibrating it, but the maximum possible increase is only 30 degrees.Even after recalibrating up 30 degrees, it still didn't seem to be heating to the correct temperature.Everything was taking 15-20 minutes longer than the directions, and anything with dough didn't rise properly.We got an inside-the-oven thermometer and finally figured out the problem.Even though the digital temperature read-out says its at the correct temperature and the temperature notification beep sounds, it still takes another 10-15 minutes (!!) to actually reach the correct temperature.So, recalibrating up 30 degrees is right on the money - but the digital read-out and the notification beep are not accurate and there doesn't seem to be any way to reset them.Removing/returning/replacing is expected to be a nightmare.We will never, ever buy an appliance again without searching high and low for consumer ratings. This model didn't seem to have any, and we purchased it because it was one of only a few in this size and our general belief that Maytag's products were reliable.
