The bag is a bit bulkier than I had hoped for our 6 ft tree, so it doesn't compress the tree as much as I would like. But it does the job just fine, leaves the tree upright and intact, and is less unsightly in the basement than the tree wrapped in trash bags which was my old way of dealing with tree storage.
