I have found that I've used less litter with this box and there is less odor. It is a very economical litter box and I don't dread cleaning it as much as I have in the past with other boxes. You have to use the clumping litter. I would recommend getting the large box as the regular size is very small and would only accomodate a kitten or very small cat. I definitely recommend this litter box!
P.S. After rolling the box to the right and then back to the stationary position like I demonstrated, you will also very slightly roll it to the left to allow the clean litter back into the box. You will find the process is quite simple.
