I actually got this for my long haired cat, but on a lark gave the dog a once over.Usually she dislikes brushing, but the PetZoom bristles don't seem to irritate her skin at all.If she sees me with it she runs over for a grooming!The cat likes it too, whichis great since he is prone to mats.

So it seems to be a very comfortable brush, and the self-cleaning feature is nice.It clears the brush very well.
