The Sharper Image Portable Electric Shoe Polisher, Black Review

I was very happy to receive the Sharper Image shoe polisher as a gift. I mainly wanted one, because I don't like getting shoe polish on my hands and under my fingernails when I use my old-fashioned brush and felt cloth shoe-shining kit. The Sharper Image product is nicely designed to keep shoe polish off your hands if you use it carefully, but there's one big problem. It simply did not get my shoes shiny. I tried it on black and brown patent leather men's dress shoes that had been shined before with the exact same shoe polish I used this time, and both looked very dull after using the product. I am not that picky and wasn't looking for a military shine, but they looked worse than before I tried to shine them with this machine. I had to use my brush and cloth shoe-shining kit to get the job done right. So, I would advise you against buying this product.
