I bought my first of these more than a year ago after installing a glass walled shower that initially seemed to require cleaning every couple days.I find that, with the automatic cleaner installed, I only have to manually clean the glass every few weeks.I'm pleased enough with the results that when my original cleaner died, I replaced it with a new one.Note that this product does have limitations.It won't clean an already dirty shower (clean thoroughly by hand before you install it), it does go through refills fairly quickly (about every 2 weeks), and the cleaning unit itself won't last forever (my first one lasted about a year).All that said, if you're as lazy about shower maintenance as I am, you may find this a welcome convenience.
